We have long since moaned that mankind is no longer mankind. There is no man in our kind. Mankind has lost its hope. The future is dim. The light is out. Our kind is worst than animals. Yadda yadda yadda.....
Just a little food for thought: Did we did this to ourselves?
Eyes, are wondrous and destructive at the same time. We were given eyes to see the world. To see the colours and to see the sparkle of a star or the glimmer of the moon. We can see a million colours. We can see gazillions things at a same time. We can differentiate different items and things.
But what's the use? We see the daily ailments of life and we just think "That's life."
You saw a beggar on a street begging. Did you stop and give the man 10 cents? Or did you walk away?
You saw a woman molested in the train. Did you stop the molester? Or did you turn away?
You saw an old man standing on the bus. Did you gave up your seat? Or did you pretend to sleep?
There's plenty of people that gave the beggar money. It'll suffice.
The molester look dangerous. I better turn around.
I fought like hell for this seat. I'm not giving it up.
Oh My GOD!! That old lady just fell down! I've gotta- No WAIT! IT MUST BE ANOTHER TRICK TO ROB ME CLEAN!!!!
The last statement is not all laughs and smiles. It really did happened in Malaysia where an old woman was robbed and fell to the ground. I think there was 5 passersby that did ABSOLUTELY nothing. This was filmed by a CCTV and at the end, the lady died. Some of the passerby came forward and one of them gave this reason.
It's so bloody ridiculous.
The point is, if someone just got around and help her, she'll probably still be around. The person who robbed her might be caught. Malaysia might not have a name as stinky as a skunk's arse in the security department. A family will still have their sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother.
The only bright side I can think about is that the old woman will get to join her husband. Which also probably won't be there since he might have reincarnated.
We all live by the world if.
If I did that,
If I did this,
What if,
Well. DONT.
It don't have to be anything grand or major. Maybe, just pick up trash from the road. Or just help a lady with her things (Maybe not such a great idea -_-). Help a person to move his coffee.
All little things that you do might amount to a lot.
Heck, maybe you're the one needing help later.
Life's too short to be hanging on regrets. And it's too short to be drowning in sorrow.
Give a little love. Maybe you'll get a little back.
