The Preacher said: You love, therefore you tolerate.
The Patronizer shouted: YOU LAZY LITTLE TWIT!
The Preacher said: You love, therefore you care.
The Patronizer snapped: YOU LITTLE GOOD-FOR-NOTHING FREELOADER!
The Preacher said: You love, therefore give patience.
The Patronizer screamed: NO! YOU LITTLE TWIT! NO ANSWERING BACK!
The Preacher said: You love, therefore you listen.
Who would win in these cases? The Preacher or The Patronizer?
Both the Patronizer and the Preacher are members of my family. It's kinda easy to see who's who anyway. The Patronizer thrives on the tears that I shed. The Preacher revels on the sorrow I felt.
The Patronizer thinks that I should follow one way, and their way only. The Preacher thinks that I should tolerate the remarks, to show that I love.
But Why???? Why should I tolerate all that even though you are my family? Why should I listen to someone that never listen to me anyway? Being family, you're supposed to be caring and supportive. But do you?
The Patronizer reprimanded everything that I could have or might have done wrong. Like taking a shower after 6 or leaving a wrapper on the table which I WILL have thrown out later anyway. The Patronizer never listens and find faults at whatever that you might have done. The Patronizer throws away memories of the things that you might have done right and keeps the memories of the worse times. The Patronizer twist their own and your words to suit whatever theories that they might be presenting.
The Preacher is not a gentle person either. The Preacher is an authoritative and traditional. The Preacher is a perfectionist with anyone that they might breed. The Preacher preach and claims of love but has done none of it. They insist on the righteousness of an issue, but the rules doesnt seem to apply to them.
You people say and talk cock about everything, like everything is where it should be in the perfect world. Both of you laugh at our ignorance, but do you educate? Of course you do. Its only that Sissy and I are the ones that have to bear the responsibility and burden. Well Sissy mostly.
The Preacher talks about ignoring and tolerance. Sissy have to bear with The Patronizer when they go on a rampaging massacre on household items.
The Preacher expects a great result from the kids. Sissy and I have to bear the heavy burden of performing exceptionally well in our studies.
The Patronizer claims that both Sissy and me are fat lazy worms that lounge around the house all day. Sissy cleaned the house and still get yelled at.
To the Patronizer:
You have mood swings. You burst out in a volcano everytime you're pissed bout something. But watch your steps. Sissy is the one getting hurt here. Not you.
To the Preacher:
You preach about love and tolerance. But be sure to practice your skills by staying 24/7 in the house with the Patronizer. Then tell me more about love and tolerance.
To Sissy:
Stay strong. I'll always have your back.
